Default Unnecessary message while logging on...Please help me solve this?

Hi Friends,
Hi friends,
I've a modified version of Windows XP Pro with SP2. I want my system to logon to XP as soon as possible. So I want to enable Auto Logon in my Windows XP Pro SP2 on the Administrator Account.

I made somehow the Auto Logon but I get a lot of messages when the system auto logons..Please someone solve this problem. And I'm also not getting the Welcome Screen.

what is ctfmon (C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe) which sits in the starup. Sould I enable it in the startup or uncheck it in the stratup.

What is sstray in startup....Should I check it the stratup or uncheck it.

Should I enable ctfmon and sstray in the stratup.

thats coz you've the verbose status enabled. to disable it follows these steps:

Quote:
On a stand-alone computer or a single computer
If you are using a stand-alone computer or if you want to enable verbose status messages on only one computer, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type gpedit.msc, and then click OK.
3. Expand Computer Configuration, expand Administrative Templates, and then click System.
4. In the right pane, double-click Verbose vs normal status messages.
5. Click Disabled, and then click OK.
6. Close Group Policy Object Editor, and then click OK.
