Yahoo Messenger Help

I have been having trouble in using Yahoo Messenger Chat recently. I was able to chat without any problems on Yahoo Messenger about a month back.

Now when I enter a room, it says to verify a 'captcha' word sequence for authentication. After I've done that, I still don't see any users in that room or any messages.

Is it some problem with Yahoo itself or is there something wrong with my software ???

I use Yahoo Messenger version 6.0 as the later versions don't seem to install on my system for some unknown reason.

Please help.

Which is ur OS and describe ur system SPECS

I have Windows 98SE.

My system is a Celeron 333 with 256 MB RAM. I use a broadband connection.

I dont use Yahoo ChatRooms... though.. i think they have added a new security... i.e the image verification (captcha).... which ur version may not be supporting
