Default What is this error? Help!

Well it all started out with me happening to download a virus unknown to me. Already did all the virus scanning and now my pc is as good as it was except for this problem that comes up whenever i click on the drive icon on my computer. Please check the attachment and help! Thanks in advance.

there will be autorun.inf file in ur drive delete the file, located in the root of the drive

Where do i find that?

Tried searching and it throws up about 5 autorun.inf files all associated with some programs.

open the drive,show hidden file shud be enabled...u r talking abt hdd drive isn't?
autorun.inf is a hidden file

edit: and also u may need to restart da compu after deleting the file in order to changes to take effect

Yep its the hdd drive. Found one with autopatcher deleted it yet no use?

I have five partitions and its happening on every partition though it works fine if i right click on it and click on open and explore. Just that its not accesible anymore if i double click on it.

have u restarted the compu??....chk if the file is re-appearing if yes then virus is in memory u will need to clean it with other av

Did restart the computer and that error still shows. Also already scanned it with kaspersky so what do i scan it with now?

No it doesn't i mean the auto patcher one. Haven't found another autorun.inf file on c:

OMG!!!! That freaking msg appears everywhere with IE! I guess those tips given there would help i hope.
