Default Window XP problem

Guys,
I need to know hw can we retrieve passwrd if we have the lost the password to log in Window XP.
There was no guest account, just administrator account. Unfortunately the password has been lost after the system was brought back to action after almost 6 months...
Thanks in advance!

wel since it is not possible to confirm your real intetions of getting the password, i am assuming that you are try to gain access to a computer where you do not have administraor privialges, which is illegal and hence breaking the forum rules

i suggest u google ur query

If you are administrator of your system, the easy way to format the drive c: and reinstall XP again or install xp in another drive.

Well I trust everyone!!! So I am telling you how to open your account without using any password : When at Welcome screen Press Ctrl+Alt+Del twice and type Administrator in the Dialogue box that appears and press continue. It should work.

It can't work always, because at the time of installing XP, user might have put an administrator passwd.
@author: I don't have the link right now, but I do remember that there exists a Binary CD image which cud be burnt, used to boot the computer which will then crack the XP passwords. So google it.

This thread has already been reported to admins and since they see it alright(& haven't blocked thread), hope putting this post doesn't violate forum rules.
