Default too slow(or SAY NO) Airtel gprs on vista

hi guys
day before yesterday i installed VISTA and its givin me a headache.i hav a HELL LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH IT. but guys Plz first solve this gprs problem. i will post other problems wen this gprs PROBLEM IS SLOVED.

so i use K700i and use bluetooth for connecting to internet tru Airtel gprs on VISTA. but the problem is that speed is like 40bytes/sec
while in XP its around 4-5kilobytes/sec.

i dont know wat really this microsoft has done with this vista. even for such a simple dial up connection it do a hell lot of checkin n settins. even the connection icon(in taskbar) is not simple and nor does it shows like XP

Make sure in connection properties options like:

Enable Hardware Flow Control
Enable Modem Error Control
Enable Modem Compression

Are enabled and also try to increase the Maximum Speed from the drop down list.

yes those things are enabled. all settings are like XP itself but NOT THE SPEED
