Default Hmm...triple boot possible?


ok.....we can have a dual boot for Wnidows XP and Vista...

i have a Grub dual boot of XP and Fedora 7...and also want to have Vista too.....

i am just thinking if it is possible or not....... is it possible?

Oh yeah buddy... u can.... once i had 5 OS installed... (2 linux, 3 Windows)

^^ I don't remember who, but we have a member in this forum who has tried 8 different OS at one time. Octa boot.....

whoa......cud anyone help me out.....
wanna install vista on Xp and Fedora....hmm....do i have to remove fedora, install vista, and then again fedora...???

Install Vista and then install GRUB again. No need to remove OS and reinstall etc.

^^^ ok...install vista....now GRUB gets masked off...then...do we have any s/w to again install only GRUB?

It is easy if you have the Fedora rescue disk/mode. You just have to ask it to restore your GRUB

A.K.A :
Code:
linux rescue
chroot /mnt/sysimage
grub-install /dev/hda (or sda, whichever is your HDD name)
