Vista icon pack for XP??

Hi,

I am looking for WinVista icons for my XP.Does any one know of any such icon pack.I found plenty of them with google search,but all in .ico or .png and I don't have to clue how to install them.So,a link to an executable file to install icons will be great.

Thanks,But 32 mb is too large a download for me.Maybe something in range of 10-15 mb would be nice.

And I don't need the whole transformation pack,just the icons.

Thanks for the upload.But can you tell me how to use those .png files as icons??

Right click the required folder and go to the customise tab
there will be an (a)option change icon click it go to browse to
yr icon and press ok
For My computer ,Documents recycle bin and some more
right click on the desktop->properties->Desktop tab->Customize desktop->
then the same as above form (a)

Hey,got it now.

But is there any way to apply the folder icons simultaneously.I have more than 1000 folders and replacing each icon manually is a....well....fuh-get about it.

you can use icontweaker/iconpackger software wid vista theme. the easiest way to change all icons. search the forums for vishal's thread regarding this.

@ IR dude : hey thanks,downloaded the iconpackager,but it turned out to be a 30-day trial .So searched for a freeware,came across iconlover.applied all icons.Working fine now.Thanks...

You can also create an iconpack of existing icons using Icon Packager and it'll create an .ip file. Which you can upload at MegaShare.com and I'll update my thread with the link.

hey buddy i am a dialup user but i downloaded the vista transformation pack 7 from window x because IT IS WORTH IT. U will not regret sitting an hour or so for the file to get downloaded... go for a walk with ur GF outside and leave the download to happen.. u will enjoy not just the icons but the whole vista experience.

Make sure u havent run the AUTOPATCHER ... because an update (KB920925) MAY RESTRICT U TO RUN THE PATCH....

i wudn't recommend the transformation. it has always broke my system upon uninstall. if u wanna haf the vista look, then go thru the thread in the tutorial section by vishal gupta. one of the bestest threads on this forum

for icons, alternatively u can also use icontweaker which is a freeware. u'll find vista icontweaker themes at crystalxp.net.
