Vista Drivers for 845 family

Hi,

I have recently loaded vista ultimate on my p4 1.7ghz,
Intel original 82845GLLY mother board.

Installation finished successfully.But my motherboard cd for various drivers is not accepted by vista. I only get 16bit grphics.

From where can i get drivers for 845GLLY ,graphics & sigmatel sound drivers.

Please help.

Copy the graphics driver from the CD to harddisk. Then simply run then & they will install the XP drivers in Vista.

Or, run Windows Update & it will install all the required drivers. I tried using Vista on an Intel 845GEBV2 motherboard with only the onboard graphics & it workd fine out of the box without Aero.

R u using an Original Vista DVD or pirated?

Google Search for mother board manufacturer web site. You will get the driver there.

From my motherboard cd when I try to install then message 'No proper operating system' dialog comes & installation aborted.Is it possible if I transfer my cd content on HDD?


I have searched on Intel website for my vista drivers but still they don't provide any driver (845glly)for Vista.

DUDE i dont use any pirated softs.... i m one of those ppl who bot Winxp ki CD whn it was 8k !

n stil there r things that intel doesnt wanna support

do u hav 845glly series too? are the Front Panel USB ports active in ur cpu?

I had an asrock i845gv mobo and the updated xp drivers i got from its site kind of worked on vista as well..
