Default norton internet security 2007


i have norton internet secutity 2007 installed in my system.i have updated the antivirus definitions using automatic live update.Is there anyway to retain the antivirus definitions when i reformat the system???

I had searched for it but didnt find any. Same prb wit Kaspersky but atleast wit kaspersky definition size r generally where small compared to Norton.

I think you can instead download the off-line update pack through Symantec's site? In days of Norton 2002 (Which was the last I used) we had that download available... (Searches)

You might want to ask "Dreams" for sure cuz he still works for symantec, but the folder I think is located in c:\doc&set\allusers\appdata\symantec (show hidden files and folders must be on) or like everyone else suggested the "intelligent updater" can be found as #12 on www.symantec.com/autotools. more solutions/application can be found at www.symantec.com/cstools
