hello frnd..
i think i shld change my username n keep it problemm mind....lol

jokes apart..i hv got serious problem dis time..

in few systems of our comp lab...i found dat whenever few sites like orkut is opened..also yahoo addressbook...den a page as shown below
...hey sry..i even do not know 2 paste images here lol...

but a page comes wid details as
Access Denied....access to the page...d link of page...is denied for the following reason:
the site is in blocked cateogaryornography

dis happens only in few systems..
but if d same thing is opened thru proxy...d pages open normally..

but direct access is denied



NOTE: any1 plz tell me how 2 paste pics here....so dat i can show u all d page












any1 atleast tell me abt how 2 copy some screenshots yaar..
i hv seen few people doing it in some other threads here
but i m not getting it

escan is aan antivirus..used in dese systems..n so dis "escan access denied" thing is very irritatio\ng
y dont dese admins keep some nice antivirus..
its irriatting niw..wid almost 1 out of 5 sites is shown as porn..even yahoo addrresses

to capture a screenshot, please press the print screen button of the Keyboard...

Open Windows Paint, and then paste it there, (CTRL+V).... Now save that paint file as jpeg file (.jpg)

Once file is saved, please go to, http://www.imageshack.us/ and upload the image file there then please post the thumbnail here

so i hv 2 upload d pic first..
i thought dere wld b some direct method of copying d image here..like we can do 4 text..
i know i sound foolish...but shldnt d developers take over dis challenge n help us lessen our burden of uploading..

There are vB MODs (extra Codes for modification of the Web Script vBulletine) to do such, how ever we dont have those installed here in this forum

There are a few big nagative...

1st of all the Installation is some time becomes difficult when you have a Large board like Digit as these vBulletine installation DataBase (DB) can be as big as Few GBs... so hadeling such huge DB is some time a little tough job...

2nd would be the Space, the server space and Bandwidth... see Digit too have one upload option when you post, you may attach the file there, but thats not as good as Posting a direct image with image tag like this,

n plz dont say net speed is slow...
i m using 2mbps speed now..wid just 2 of us here.
n speed is exceelent...atleast as compared 2 other times...

How big is the file size, just hoping u have not saved the file as .bmp

anyway, there are tons of those site like this http://www.freeimagehosting.net/

and many more Google will be helpful, however, imageshack.us is the most widelly and commonly used

actuallly its not a bug or virus...
but d settings of e-scan antivirus were so foolishingly set up our admin dat even a slightest of word wld make d site unreachable...
now i hv askd him 2 open out d sites..

All the computers in your LAB must be on a domain.. these sight have been blocked my the administrators. You can either use third party proxy to access these websites.. are you already doing.. or you can try to add s in https: or try images.orkut.com to access orkut. nothing much can be done here!!!

neither d http: thing..nor the images.orkut.com thing is working for orkut frnd...

our admins r very clever...its not easy 2 fool them...dough many times dey do demselves..lol
