Default cant see hibernation or standby option

hi all,
i hav a prob in my O.S, i thought i cud get a help frm u all.

I'm not able 2 get HIBERNATION/ STANDBY option in my log out screen. i mean the standby option is faded.
i went 2 control panel/ power options , but there 2 hibernation option is not displayed.
i hav re-installed xp pro(sp2) and formatted C drive. but still the prob exists.
can any1 suggest sumthin?

Try updating your graphic card and motherboard drivers.

Install Chipset drivers and display drivers.

well i'm not adding nethin new to wat navjot and charangk have already said but i'm just giving u word of advice from d horses mouth

Hibernate and Standby Features Are Not Available When Using Standard VGA

It means that your mobo does not support it.
