how to open orkut when there's a CISCO firewall?

hello frnz,
my college has blocked orkut, they r using CISCO firewall, so when i open orkut using some proxies
it block each of them...plz help..

Can u check if you open using proxy sites like anony-proxy.com ?

hey i hv heard some about encryption...try using that....
am sure though...i think the proxy sever must encrypt it and u shld hv the keys to open and view it....dunno how it is actually

i know a way to check scraps using rss feeds..there it the way

in place of xxxxxxxxx insert your profile uid !! and enter it in the address bar...it will show your scraps..u also add it to live bookmarks or RSS reader

sorry.....no proxies allowed....any proxi opens for 2-3 days and gets blocked automatically....and proxut.com is also blocked...

Although Orkut is blocked in our institution, we input images.orkut.com into the address bar and it really WORKS !

Go to start->run type cmd.
Now type ping www.orkut.com (space between ping and www)
You will get an ip address for www.orkut.com note it down.
Now go to http://www.allredroster.com/iptodec.htm
Enter the ip in the enter ip address field and press calculate.You will get an address in Decimal field.This is it.Copy this address and type it in your browser,if lucky www.orkut.com or any other blocked site for which you do this should open.

For example,for orkut you get the decimal address as http://1208930645

thanx,but there is filter in our college where all proxies and ip's are blocked.
it says requested url cant be retrieved.
so http://www.allredroster.com/iptodec.htm this cant be opened.

isnt there any another method?

u should give a try to proxy software(automatically changing proxy takes place) like anonymouse surfer, Hide ip platinum.
