    Arrow Need a free virtual drive software

    Guys, I want a small & free virtual CD mounting software which can mount iso images etc.
    Dell Inspiron 1564: i3 330M 2.13GHz | 4GB DDR3 1066MHz | ATI M.R. HD 5450 1GB | 298 GiB 7200rpm WD hdd

    Don't use Daemon tools it installs usee sh!t even in preminum versions.I recommend using the one from Microsoft or there are others but not daemon.

    Dunno about the new premium/free version, but I use the previous version of Daemon tools wherein its optional to install spyware crap.

    i used daemon... nero imagedrive... & alcohol... all rock... alcohol is best to make images too

    Microsoft's is there in os by default... or so... in Control Panel as microsoft virtual image drive or so....

    I used deamon tools... Best one...
    Nero Image Drive is good too but not very feature rich.

    Alcohal has lots of fetures but most of them seem useless to me..Like creating images..I like to create images using nero...

    Microsoft Virtual Drive is too Basic...

    So Clear winner is Deamon Tools... (Even the free version is enough.)

    Demon tools is da most stable one around....it runs cool even after mny explorer terminations.
    Its drives are also much faster in reading than of the Nero's or Alcohol's.
    The new 4.0.3 free really rox

    For image makin, alc 120 is da best. Image burning consumes much less memory and much faster/stable than nero. Never goes buffer underun.[even on a 256 ram system.]

    You can only create ISO images with NERO. Alcohol supports much more formats!
