Computer restarts after hanging

For the last two days my computer's display freezes occasionly and after that it restarts on its own. I haven't installed any software except Speed + provided by Tata indicom for faster browsing using data card.

Also while my computer starts, I get the following error message.

ventcsquid.exe- application error
The instruction at "0x0044c145" referened memory at "0x2af332a8".The memory can't be "READ"
Click OK or CANCEL


There is no critical error in system in EVENT VIEWER, but critical error in Application errors say "Faulting application ventcsquid.exe, version 2.5.4.0, faulting module ventcsquid.exe, version 2.5.4.0, fault address 0x0004c145."

You are you using Venturi Web Client or SQUID Web proxy? Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Update your version if you can.

Even after reinstalling it, the problem stays. Its the latest version that is available.
