Best software to convert AVI to DVD

Can someone suggest me a good software to convert an AVI file to DVD so that I can play it on my DVD player?

Most of Todays DVD player comes with Support of the populer Video Codecs as divx, xvid and mp4... some do come with ever extented ones like x264 too

so if u burn as Data DVD, they will be able to play when u have the video under those Codec...

otherways, Nero is not one bad option either to burn them as Video DVD !!!

Try WinAVI converter or Total Video Converter.The latter AFAIK coverts every possible format that I can think of & is small in size too.
