Default problem with broadmand ( mails )

guys, i have bsnl broadband at home and for the first few weeks the broadband was great . Even now it is great except for this frustrating problem.

i'm able to access my yahoo mail account and see the list of mails but am not able to open more than one mail per login session ( ) . my gmail is not opening at all. i tried creating new accounts with every possible mail account providers but i'm not able to send or receive or even download contents from my mails ( even 25 kb ones ). Also i'm not able to upload content to sites... for e.g photos etc. but downloading from any means is never a problem.

its only my mail accounts that is the problem . i'm able to access all sites without a problem. SO ... techies.... geniuses... pros ... HELP ME !! i'm in dire need to solve this problem.

thanks so much !!

^^ Thats not a problem with your ISP. Its most probably your antivirus/firewall combination. Check with other browsers like Opera or Firefox. Also try checking mail by turning off the AV.
