Default Problem in installing CS3 suite

I am unable to install the adobe creative CS3 suite(from digit dvd) on my laptop running Windows Vista.I even downloaded photoshop CS3 from adobe's site and couldn't install it.The setup file starts with a small dialog which disappears after 5-6 seconds. The file is not corrupt as I could install it on another computer.I earlier had photoshop CS3 beta installed which didn't uninstall properly so I manually deleted it.
Please tell me how can I install it.

u did wat??

it is probably d reason y ur CS3 trial not getting installed 'cause der is still all d registry entries pointin 2 presenc of CS3 beta on ur comp

AFAIK u r allowed 2 install only 1 instance of d sw on d comp @ a given time
so ne attempt 2 install trial will b prvented bcos of d old beta registry entries

if u want 2 c wat error message popped up go 2 Event manager and c d appropriate entry

[judging by ur axn, i can bet my money on d fact dat u will have an extremely messy event viewer wen u open it]
