How to boot in xp in safe mode (Vista + XP Dual Boot)

I have dual boot vista and xp. My system is not able to boot from xp after installing deep freeze. When i press F8 for advance boot option to boot in safe mode , system boot in vista with safe mode .

How to boot in xp in safe mode ?

Whats wrong in you trying it. It should work as it worked in the previous versions this way. Vista has a different boot loader but should work.

yes it works but its tricky.
I use "boot safe" its simple way to restart the os in safe mode, works in dual boot too, uwill have to copy the software to both os Desktop, then when ever u want to boot in safe mode just select option & restart via boot safe.

then u have to try manual way of selecting the OS then trying ur luck with pressing F8 continuously.

or

boot from the XP CD that surely should work, in BIOS ur 1st boot device should be CD/dvd rom only then it will boot from CD
