tv tuner software required..

hey!
i recently borrowed my friends tv tuner card , installed it and its up n running.. all i need now is get a cable connection and a software to enable me to view the tv channels.. pls suggest some softwares for viewing the channels..my card is pinnacle pctv stereo 100i based on phillips saa7134 chipset..

By Default, the Card comes with a Application. Anyways, ChrisTV is an Awesome PVR software

^^yeah.. i kno it comes with the pinnacle pctv soft. but tht cd has been misplaced.. neway.. do chris tv and free media portal allow u to record the shows?

ChrisTV does and even pinnacle remote works with it if you configure it properly. Actually i think Chris TV is more powerful than Pinnacle PCTV

BTW, you can always download PCTV from Pinnacle Website

yeah.. but it is charged.. i mean since i lost the cd, and the cse, i don have the serial number.. so that is not an option.. also..one more query.. i have 4 comps on LAN.. is there a way i can connect cable tv to all 4 of them?

Serial Number is just timepass on pinnacle products. Ask the Customer care or search google and you will get it. Its same for all products

You mean with a single TV turner you want to watch on all the other PC's on Lan. Hmm try Remote Desktop....might work
