Unhappy Equalise volume of all songs

I recorded some songs on CD for playing on my AIWA music system, after converting them from mp3 by using dbpoweramp music converter. Since the mp3 songs were obtained from different sources, their original recording volumes and thereby the volume of each song after conversion is not matching and giving the desired sound clarity when played on the music system. Can anybody please guide me as to how the volume of all songs can be equalised while recording and best output obtained, maybe by using a different freeware? Thanks in advance.

Use the Normalize option in any sound editor. Audacity is a nice freeware. You can search for s/w link in Google.
