Vista Problem

I have Compaq Prasario V6000
Windows Vista basic in it installed

The problem is that whenever I insert any USB device in it(pendrive, mp3, etc) it asks for installing the drivers of it.But on Win XP it doesnt....
Why so????????

Do u have Widcomm Bluetooth driver installed ?

What does having Bluetooth drivers installed on it got anything to do with the problem ?

As soon as i install widcomm in my Vista Ultimate n Home premium it starts showing the same problem.

Tried till Widcomm 5...1100, rest versions are not working

And not once or twice, i've re-installed atleat 4 or 5 times due to it !!!
