Misleading "System Information" in XP???
I have XP Home OEM (original) on my system... It has been in use for quite some time... Usually, I run the system in a Limited User Account. Today, by chance, I happened to go to Start Menu->Program Files->Accessories->System Tools->System Information. I was startled to see the Product Activation Status saying Pending Activation (30 days left)... When I did the same thing under Administrator account, I got correct info that indicated it was activated. Has anyone else encountered this problem before? Is it because of the limited user account status that I got this error? I was scared for a while that I had gotten a pirated copy somehow... Arun |
