Default Celeron D not working properly...

Hi
I have PC with Celeron D. I just installed XP on it and the process manager is showing only one processor working. Earlier I had installed Windows 2000 on it and it was showing 2 procesors. Is there another way to verify if both the cores are working? If they are not working please tell me a way to rectify the problem.
I have Intel D101GGC motherboard with ATI RADEON chipset.
Please help me guys, I am totally clueless about it.....

P.S. - I feel that its a software problem, so I have posted it here.

In windows Task manager
Goto Performance->View->CPU History->One graph per CPU

AFAIK Celeron D was always Single Core CPU so its perfectly correct if Windows shows only 1 graph for CPU usage.I am not aware how you saw two of them before.

I was just reading about Celeron D on wikipedia and it says its not a dual core processor. Well maybe i saw the 2 processors on my other pentium 4 HT PC and mistook it after coming to pune (I am from Nagpur).
So sorry to bother u for this and thanks for the replies guys.

No need to shift to WIN XP 64. Are you going to use more than 3GB RAM ? also AFAIK there is no performance boost.
