How often do u update ur softwares?

people have many apps & softwares
so how often do u update it?
i update my plugins & software every week or as soon as they come out...cuz most of them have security updates along with feature updates
i do not try the betas genrally. what abt u all?
i only download stable versions.
& if a program gets bloated then i drop it & switch to something better.

The 5th option should be: Depends on the software OR Sometimes.

For example: I update my browser Opera whenever new versions are released, but I'm still using old winamp ver 5.something. O&O defrag 9. Sygate Firewall etc. Even my Nod32 virus defination are about a month old.

If its Free update then I update... If its not then do a little trial on VPC to see is it worth of the money ??

Now for AVS or Security Software, paid or not, if update is there I update
