Help MTNL doesn't like Windows Vista ...

Hi guys,

I recently upgraded my Laptop to Windows Vista Enterprise from Windows XP. I have a Cable Internet Connection and MTNL Broadband connection, the cable broadband connection works fine but there are issue's when connected to MTNL Broadband connection.

The connection becomes unavailable every 20 - 30 mins and I need to either reboot the Modem or access the modem from browser and tweak something or other (basically anything) to bring it back online. MTNL technical support is obviously no help and this is a major discomfort.
The same MTNL connection used to work fine with Windows XP

Has anyone else faced similar issue's ?
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this ?

Just an update it turned out to be a problem with the MTNL DNS server ....

I've got following DNS servers IP for MTNL connection and they both seem to be giving problems

Primary DNS : 59.179.243.70
Secondary DNS : 203.94.243.70

Is anyone else facing this issue with MTNL Connection ?

these r the dns mtnl gave me

primary 203.94.227.70

secondary 203.94.243.70

I had the same and then when I called in MTNL they told me 203.94.227.70 has been depriciated and I need to replace it with 59.179.243.70. Infact just now I tried to ping 203.94.227.70 & 203.94.243.70 and got "Request Time Out" for both while 59.179.243.70 gave response

And right now I am only (Don't know how) able to browse ThinkDigit forum all other websites say connection timed out

I don't know what MTNL is up to but this is CRAP
