start up problem in winxp

Please help!!!!

I use Winxp Pro sp2.After the log on screen my PC takes a minimum of 10mins to load.Facing the problem from 2days.After loading everythings fine>

there is some system file corrupted.How to find the file & repair the same>

dude try this copy/paste the following code in notepad and the save it as .REG

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\PrefetchParameters]
"EnablePrefetcher"=dword:00000002

Finally double clcik on it and then click on Yes ,restart n then c da changes

yeah if you have looked at those and tried those solutions, and you're still facing problems, you maybe better off with a reinstall.

but if u ask me one imp thing : reduce ur startups and check for malware infections (thats 2 actually )
