Default To improve firefox speed

I got this from a website.
I trieds this.It works perfectly for me.
If this was already posted, then, moderators please delete the thread.

This will help you to improve FIREFOX speed:

1.Type "about:config" in FIREFOX address bar.

2. Do the following changes:

Change "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Change "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Change "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to "20" or "30".

3. Create a new entry by clicking on right mouse button, select "New-> Integer". The name to enter must be "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and the value must be "0".

This will make FIREFOX to be more fast by allowing to make multiple connections.

this will set the initial delay before the browser acts on a request to zero

one more tweak
to change the scrolling speed (no. of lines that is scrolled once using scroll mouse)

Type about:config in the url bar
scroll down to the following line
mousewheel.withnokey.numlines
and set it to 4 (say if you want to scroll down 4 lines once)

Hmm..., do u think that the stuff was developed by chip guys or from chip forum members?

Man, there are many forums which have more than 80k members and even they dont claim to be the best, well this stuff would have also been a rip off from other forums. If u think chip forums are the best then, go there why r u here?
