hellp for dcdrom

my xp pro version always shows my cdrw and dvd rom as 1st two removeable drive .
recently i got problem in HDD so my friend tried with his hdd for diagnostic the problem .
After my hdd repaired the(i think my friend connected differently) removeable drive cdrw and dvdrom are showing after all usb ,and other removeable devices.
whats the problem plz help mee

dude try uninstalling ur usb drives and cd-rom drives, and then install it again ....Also check weather the cd- roms are on primary and secondary.

so you cd drivers are actually internal? do the drives work?
