Problem in making VCDs

I have few AVSEQ.DAT files. When I try to make a VCD with Nero, it takes around 20 minutes to re-encode it, then it burns.
Since those are already dat files, cant those 20 minutes be saved.

I think there nero will popup a message regarding bit rate or something as not standard .. just cancel it and check. To experiment for quality, save it as a CD image.
EDIT:Its been long since I used Nero for VCD's. Dono if there is any changes to nero recode.

try to reinstall nero

[ASSUMING THAT U HV NERO ] no don`t do that all u hv 2 do is that when u move ur cursor over "make a VCD" then click on "nero express" instead of "nero vision" after that u hv 2 add the files and hit burn. plz say thanks if this helps
