need to CUT certain scene frm a Video- using XP- Reg

i was used VcdCutter before to cut certain scenes frm a movie. but nw dont knw wht happnd, its not working. and unfortunately i have lost those vcdcutter directory itself.

though can anyone help me in this, by providing a new version on the VcdCutter or even any other sharewares?

use virtual dub it's free but supports only avi output

vcd cutter's latest version is 4.03(but that's released in 2004)

u can use vcd cutter in XP too first download the new version by searching in google then after installing right-click the main vcd-cutter exe file and go to the compatibility tab and use the option run in then select windows 98 that will do it or check the turn off advanced settings option

I have used both VCD CUtter and Virtual dub.....

From what type of files do u want to make clippings (MPEG1,MPEG2 or DAT(mpeg1))

u will have to use the sample clip editor option to do the clipping

and it is a FREEWARE better than any shareware
