Default Unable to play video files


I am unable to play some video files, the media player tries to download some codecs, then there comes an error and then the video does not play but the sound is there

Can someone help...

no need to bother dlding any codec packs

yeah if VLC won't play the files, generally nothing will... unless it is an image then try to open with daemon tools or nero image/alcohol 120 then play video files.

vlc player doesnt play certain ripped streaming video files(from youtube and google video), but k lite plays them all! the best thing is, the "media player classic" is such a light appl and plays everything! even incomplete torrent videos!

of course VLC PLAYER plays files downloaded from youtube. after all they have the *.flv ext which is natively supported by vlc player

heres d proof, check out d i/p format row. in fact it even plays the flash files if you haven't added d ext flv [which u may have to manually do if u dl from youtube]

as 4 incomplete torrent files, i have used it vlc palyer to paly them. it plays those parts that has been downloaded and skips those that hasn't.
