help me connect to Net!!!

Guys,
i use computers in my university. we have 20 computers connected through lan. we se internet through a router. all the pc has win xp installed. now recently, due to some technical problems i reformatted one of the pcs and reinstalled win xp on it.i am able to set up the ip address in the pc.but i don't know the dns addresses.please give me way to get the dns address and setup the internet on this pc.

open command windows. type IPCONFIG /all, you might have to talk to the university's Tech.

go to anyother system.......
start-->>type cdm and press enter-->>type
ipconfig/all


U will get all the details..with this detail set the IP address and other setting on the formated Xp PC.
