When i tried to repair/reinstall it using XP SP2 boot CD, it again shows the blue screen specifyin error in acpi.sys (this come at the time when it says "Windows is starting" .. before giving any inputs...) .. Hi,
Try turning off acpi in the bios. Also borrow a xp cd from a friend. You may also want to check your Ram.If there's more than one stick, try with each one individually.Or use memtest with a bootable floppy or sth. |
