~!~ Problem installing Opera or Safari ~!~ Help!!!

When trying to install Opera or Safari following message appears
" This installation package could not be verified. Verify that the package exits and that you can access it, or cotact the application vendor that this is a valid Windows Installer Package"

The same error use to come when installin JRE -but that was fixed as i did online install.

i have again re-installed XP if there was a problem wit the OS but the same msg appears evy time.

Plz HELP!!! fo this

I think there is a prob in windows installer. Download Windows Installer 3.1 from Microsoft Web Site

extract all files from safarisetup.exe (u can use winrar) to any folder then go to that folder and run safari.msi

quite possible that both yr downloads might be corrupt, just check 'em on some other computer.

works fine in other computers ...
now that is the problem.. donno why its showing the error in mah computer only
