Biggest problem , it's UI sucks big time and it has no Full-screen control , and it doesn't feature in their priority list of Windows version

Zeeshan never likes using shortcuts I believe. He always complains that against VLC. (And about UI, you can take some time to find a good theme)

Its a valid thing though, from a beginner point of view I'd like a small scroller below my video, but I am not one and I absolutely love shortcuts instead of ugly interfaces of players popping around to help.

^^Even I loves keyboard shortcuts

they are awsome in case of VLC
I dislike media player coz it never have such a gud shortcuts

Winamp have awsome Global Hotkeys but it supports very less file types as compare to VLC Player

i have to use shortcuts in VLC . but the advantage with the scroller is that i can jump directly to the exact point i want to in the video rather than go forward or backward using KB shortcuts .

n there r only 2 steps in VLC , 10secs n 60 secs , you can't go forward or backward less than that .

Also , skins don't work on my system(i think coz i ain't got GFX card) , but nyways . comparing to WMP 11 , VLC player is far behind.

heck , VLC even has a beautiful Full-screen interface in Mac , y can't they just port it for windows

And you can't possibly call this ugly

VLC is behind WMP 11 ONLY in UI. Not in its ability. WMP 11 purely sucks in its ability to play videos. Even with K-Lite and others installed separately one at a time, it always had sync problems with my downloaded shows. MPC on the other hand, played it very fine.

Hardcore fans? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I like geeky whitewashed interfaces like the Windows Classic look. And look what, a hardcore windows supporter hates the history of windows by not liking it So he's not hardcore enough yet, maybe he needs to watch more hard stuff
