Default Blaster virus causing shutdown of system

I have a windows 2003 Enterprise edition PC.My computer is
infected with a virus which causes the machine to shutdown
after showing a dialog box stating that it will shutdown within
60 seconds.

I couldnt find any patch for it.My antivirus software Mcafee didnt
detect it also. The antivirus has all the latest updates.
Whats the solution for this?

I have the same problem for a windows 2000 server machine.
I installed the patch but still doesnt work.

1.go in control panel...
2.open "Administrative Tools"..
3.open "services"...
4.find "Remote Procedure Call(RPC)" in that...
5.right click on it.. & click "properties"...
6.click on "Recovery" tab of properties dialog box...
7. and in 3 optins for failures, just select "Take no Action" from the combo boxes... which is selected as" Restart the computer"...
8.press ok...

then it will not restart although infected with a virus...that virus just fails the RPC to rebbot ur PC...

u can get tool from norton's site for blaster virus ok?

regards..

the next time the shutdown box appears ... goto start=> run
type shutdown -a
and press enter

then download mcafee's stinger tool to get rid of the virus

its not necessarily the blaster
