Default Which type of virus


My comp. is running very slow from 2-3 days after i transfered data from a floppy. Can this be a virus?

OFcourse , there is no doubt for computer running slow after the data transfer from FDD. FDD is the best source for tranfer virus to another computer. So everytme you can scan the floppy. Try Online bitdefender Scan

I have analyzed the report and found no malwares. The main reason for your system slowing down is VM_STI.EXE. It is not a malware or virus. It is a valid program that comes with digital cameras using USB connection. The program is used to capture shots from the camera. This exe has the tendency of utilizing 100% of CPU sometimes. I suggest you to kill this exe and also remove it from the start-up entry.

Also the other common resource hug is Symantec Antivirus which you are using in your system. I also suggest you to replace with other lighter and good antivirus program.
