Default Firefox 2.0.0.4 is not good!

Firefox v2.0.0.4 is not good at all. I installed it and it was not opening the pages even when the internet connection was working fine. I then uninstalled it and installed the 1.0.7 version and it is working smoothly and opening the same pages without any jerk!

Firefox 1.0.7 still rules!

Thank you.

What are the comments about Firefox 2.0.0.4 according to others?

This isnt news, it should be moved to chit chat section.

But FFx works fine for me.

Well, Arnab2kool is not wrong. My FF version is 2.0.0.4 and yes it is giving me problem. Comparing to earlier version I had used, this version is eating more memory and making the system crawl. Earlier I thought maybe I have a bug or something. But thorough scan pronounced the system clean. The effect maybe barely noticeable but the newer version definitely has got some problem.

It looks like FF 2.0.0.4 does have problem for my computer.
It takes about 25% more memory than previous ones.
And crashes even while opening simple sites but not too often.

Firefox keeps crashing on me. Not only that, it takes my Vista session down as well. Only a hard reboot will do the trick...
