Problem with BSNL Broadband

I am experiencing a weird problem with BSNL Broadband. When I try to connect to the net I don't have any problem but if I disconnect it and try to connect it gives problem. It says that Username/password not valid (even if the username/password not changed) or connecting PPPoE and stops there.

And yes I don't know about your city but in NAGPUR on 6th June no one was able to connect their net from 12 at night till 7 PM.

Please help me guys, because of this I can not download from rapidshare.com.

Same case here in Bangalore.
On 6th morning(2-8 am) there was no connection. The BSNL guys old me they had a major server breakdown. The connection was back to normal by 11 am.
Then again a weird thing happens, the connection again drops at 12.30 am(thats when I checked) and the whole night I get DL speeds of 1 KB/s(Home 500 Plan 256 KB/s = 2 Mbps) and UL speeds of 56 KB/s.

I wasn't even able to load the Google Home page!
The speeds are back to normal at 8.30 am.
I think that BSNL is trying to curb the 2-8 am 'unlimited' slot.
So much for the cheapest BB.
The quality equally sucks!!!

I too xperiencin the same probs @ hyd ,the connection is misbehaving for past few days

Try this method,works for me
1)Start-->Control Panel-->Network Connections
2)U see Local Area Network connection right there,right click on it and click repair.
3)after repair,connect to Broadband

Same here and I am getting good download speeds though. I am on UL900 in Hyd. I called the cc and they said its some server problem and will be rectified today.

Server problems I think.. 'coz my datafox couldn't give me usage info, and so i directly went to the dataone usage portal.. But I couldn't access it, and I get a message saying "Server problems - Try accessing later"

yes.once connected i dont felt any lack of speed.its working good.only thing is their core server fails to resolve user/passwd.

If your net connects dont disconnect or switch off the modem because it will be difficult to connect back again until its fixed. Keep your UPS charged and connect the modem to the UPS.
