Thumbs up OpenDNS service

Anybody out here using OpenDNS

checkout the OpenDNS.com, The service is free and seems good But I am not able to configure for my BSNL dataone connection.
All the 3 tests given on the page welcome.opendns.com fail.

Has anybody tried it...?

Mods might want to merge this thread with the one that already exists:
A Faster Web–for Free

BTW, I really don't see how someone can have a problem with this stuff.
It is so well-described with screenshots on their website. I know the Windows method is a little tougher to configure, by comparison, but it is still pretty easy.

My problems with OpenDNS :

1. Many sites don't work(yes that happens)
2. Firefox automatic google search doesn't work , instead you are taken to a search result with OpenDNS ads , etc.

Smile Re: OpenDNS service

^ dude, but i dont experiance anything like what u said. it is working with all the sites.and no,firefox opendns search page is displayed only when u type a wrong site name for eg: http://agcd.it -this time it will show u opendns page.
u can verify that opendns is working by going to http://www.opendns.com/welcome/
if it says "oops" ur not using opendns.

i'm saying that if i want to search for "xyz" on google n then go to first result , then in FF without opendns just type xyz in address bar n the first result site will open but with opendns it shows a search result , doesn't open site .

I had problems as all the test on page http://welcome.opendns.com/ failed,Which meant I am not using OpenDNS.
But later I checked with "nslookup" and it resolves addresses thru OpenDNS, Though I am not seeing any performance Improvement....

@Zeeshan: I dont think that is the case with OpenDNS , Check it for same query, XYZ
