Whenever I type gpedit.msc help?

Whenever I type gpedit.msc i get what to do?

MMC could not create the snap-in.the snap in might not be installed correctly

Name : Group Policy

CLSID:{8FC0B734-A0E1-11D1-A7D3-0000F87571E3}



I don`t want to reinstall the whole XP thing again it takes up lot of time and again i have to update everything. can u suggest any alternative???

tried restoring to an earlier time??

If you have Win XP Home Edition, I think gpedit.msc will not be available... If it is Win XP Pro Edition, check the link given by Sparsh above
