trouble with dvd movies

i have dhoom 2 DVD and wanted to cut songs but the prob is after cutting the song i cannot hear audio but i can see video whats the prob??

How can i covert videos to DVD quality vids(vice versa) (i mean which soft to use)

and WHICH IS THE BEST DVD VIDEO PLAYING SOFTWARE?????

!.) What software you are using to cut songs? Use Nero Recode... I havn't got any problem with recode. Its good enough.

2.) You can't convert CD quality videos to DVD quality.

3.) I use media player classic. Sometimes Nero Show Time. It depends on what you prefer. Try anything. What software you are using now..?
