Default Problem in Firefox

Hi,
I am having a problem in Firefox.I am not able to open Firefox. The error message it gives is
"The program must close to allow a previous installation attempt to complete. Please restart."

I had put foxy tunes add-on for installation but i think shut down my laptop without closing firefox and thus not allowing the installation process to complete.I even tried uninstalling Firefox and installing it again but it didnt work.

Please help me as life without Firefox is just not sustainable

Enable showing of Hidden files ..

Go to:
C:\Documents and Settings\<name>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

Delete the folder in that. Now start Firefox, no more issues after that I hope.

1. Goto "Tools -> Add-ons" and check whether "Foxy tunes" is listed there, if yes then uninstall it.
2. Try to install foxy tunes again.
3. Also try what QM suggested.
