Re: suggest a good Media Player
but WMP's Equalizer is a no-match against WinAmp.
i always liked WMP11 (nice library management[online updates]), but sound quality lacks big time when compared with all-time great WinAmp.

Re: suggest a good Media Player
man WMP11 simply ROCKS ROCKS ROCKS , Winamp is dead n it can't even get close to the audio quality delivered by WMP , just turn off equilizer(I being a music purist believe that music should be listened the way it was made by the composer , don't destry it by using an equilizer)

Re: suggest a good Media Player
^i like to listen the song the way "I Want"
i too used WMP11 (library), but WinAmp is more responsive than WMP, i play game & songs in WinAmp @ same time
without equalizer, the songs just seem dull, & you really cant use the Sub-Woofer to its max.

Re: suggest a good Media Player
Hi..
I am usin PowerDVD 5..normally i dont like equalizers cos it mostly messes up for me..so quietly settled for PowerDVD 5 which doesnt hv equaliser but has some presets like dolby, surround which really works awesome..
also tried the higher versions of PowerDVD, but they hv included equalisers in the latest versions so settled wit version 5 which works like a champ.
Giv it a try and revert bac..
TIA

Re: suggest a good Media Player
out of box or with plug-ins, WinAmp is the best.
WMP11's equalizer is not a match to WinAmp's.

There's a sound enhancer option in iTunes which increases the quality of sound .....In EDIT>PREFERENCES>PLAYBACK
