Default virtual PC


i am using virtual pc i put in ubuntu on it and then select to start it it shows loading linux kernel which is 100% but after tht nothing happens ... i tried slax that gave me an error saying not enough memory to load specified kernel

Increase the memory size in Virtual PC.
I recommended 384MB

thats what i am unable to do ... i cant set the memory more than 0 ... the option is not ther ........

how much ram do u have??? and u need to specify the ram wen u create a new machine or edit its settings..

ya i figured the problem .... vista sux all my 512 therby leaving nothing for vpc ... will try it on xp some time later to confirm ... exactly pathiks while setting it takes 0 as the memory ....

Why dont you try VMware 6 beta... (I think you said you were using MS-Virtual PC)....

IMO Vmware is way better than Virtual PC
