Convert to .txt

Hey
I have a number of html, pdf, rtf files. Any way to convert them to txt?
Suggest a linux/windows solution please

please clear what u want 2 do??? 4 html do u want de tags also inde txt file? u can simply use MS word, open office word 4 converting text files

Nope. Just plain raw text.
I can't use word coz I am looking for some sort of batch converter. There are many files that need converting.

Note that I have not verified the above software and should be used after checking for viruses, malware, etc...

Thanks sakumar, but I decided to stop being lazy and write a lil bash script for this.. haven't written yet.
