pc slowing down

hi people,
when i work for long hours on the computers, the computer tends to slow down considerably,a few days back ndtv a news channel showed the folliwing cure. First right click on the desktop then click on "new" then clik on search option , then u have to type something and follow some procedure which I unfortunately missed. plz help

there are many resons for computer slowdown... less RAM. and bad registry... try a reg cleaner like ccleaner, and also empty your temp and preftech folder... and then see.. also see the tutorial by VISHAL in tutorials section.. "" making your windows XP superfast" or something like that..

Also Defrag ur system weekly
