Unhappy Firefox Forgetting Settings

Let me come to the point straightaway....

since the past few days ... firefox is forgetting my settings ...

when ... i start FF it shows lik the below thumbnail..



n then i customize it lik the image below ...



but when i restart ff .. the customizations r gone .. n it reverts back to original state..

pls tell me the solution ASAP ....

i am using version .. 2.0.0.3

also .. when i drag n drop the web address frm the bookmark to the address bar .. it doesnt load until i press enter or go .. wats the reason for that ??

re-install ..... bt 1st remove this version & restart ..... delete all FF related folders .. hope it helps ........

i did re-install it... but the problem persists ... pls help me fast ... guys ...

Go to the following page and create a new profile then try again. Re-installing firefox will not help.

@CINTEL ENTRINO
Might be the addon is having some compatibility problem with FF Version.Either update the extension or uninstall it and then reinstall it

^^ Even I am having the same problem.
Now everytime I enter any website, I have to enter my Id and Password.
Even the visited pages do not show up in the address bar!!!

U have 2 solutions
1.Uninstall all the extensions and then Uninstall Firefox.Then reinstall it back again.
2.Go To Tools-->addons->Click Find Updates to update the FF extensions

Advise to all users:Keep a check on functions of Firefox extensions before you install it

Hey guys just wanted to tell you that my FF started wokring all normal. All the saved links are there and everything is all rite and this all hapened all by itself!!!

This looks so weird.

did u install any thing or updated some extension?
I am also having problem that my roboform tool bar does not stay as it should in FF, every time I have to reset it.

Must be the extensions/addons might have got updated...There is no chance for the problem to get solved automatically

^^ Dont know bout that. I mean I am starting my FF just like any other day and I dint saw that update screen that downloads and installs the updates. So I am not sure whether FF was updated or not.

Yes rite now I have updated Flashgot. But the FF problem was solved yesterday only.

Hi..

Me too switched to FF months bac..cos havin some trouble wit opera since opera eats my resources a lot..

but usin FF is easy and resource friendly but the only thing i hv to open all the sites again in the tab evethough i save the session usin a extension..

is thr any way to permanently save the sessions or a option to open the saved sessions in the start of FF..

cos i use a lot of sites everyday and culdn open each site everytime daily..

pls help out..

^ Start a new thread and mention the extension you are using to save your session. That will get you better responses and faster troubleshooting.

Go to Tools-->Options-->click TABS button.where u see a option =>New Windows should be opened in New Window/New tab.Select whichever u like

Go to Tools-->Options-->Click Main Button.In Homepage column: Type the adress and give a " | " between which will make FF to open these address one after another as soon as u open FF.Make sure in STARTUP column it is when my FF starts : Show my Homepage
