Problem with webcam

I recently bought a quantum qhm500lm webcam. I installed the drivers and everything and connected the webcam. but when i run amcap, it shows a white screen. i have uninstalled and installed several times but the problem persists. plz help me out.

may b a GHOST is in FRONT of cam ..........

or

remove the cap ..............

and download better software for displaying webcam. amcap is ****. chk in amcap if it has detected the webcam or not. update drivers. try other usb port or chk usb thought other device.

I got a older cam "D-Link DSB-C310", unable to manage any cd so downloaded a all windos driver for tht cam, while installing XP is unable to detect any compatable driver from tht downloaded folder.
any 1 can pls give me a link to get a better driver !!
