Default Unknown virus problem


guys there is some kind of virus in my pc and from my pc it came it my portable hard disk....wat it has done is it has disabeled double click on my local disk c and local dsk g (portable disk).. ie i have to open the disk by right click and then choose open... doubl click on icon dosent works..
i am using avast antivirus and it does nt detects this virus.. even used spybot search and destroy \
wat is it can u guys help me out...........

one more thing guys i thought to use system restore.... and it worked..
but there was still virus in portable HD and if i connected it to get my back up virus would again cum in my pc and that is what happened and i thought after backup and formatting the portable HD i would again restore the pc and problem wud be solved but guess wat its my bad day oll the system restoe points are vanished they were no more here....
HELP!!!

right click and open ur drive...show all hidden files and folders..if some autorun.inf file is there,delete that.

no dude there is no such file named autorun.inf

pls post ur hjt log here or get it auto-analysed at www.hijackthis.de This will give a clearer picture.

Thank u guys i got the problem... it was some trjan virus made by my friend and from his HD it came in my pc it was a wscript.vbs.dll file..
